The Auckland Project are re-levelling the surface and re-aligning the desire lines of the Broadwalk, the grand approach which leads towards Auckland Castle, the Walled Garden and the Deer Park. The work will be carried out in two parts, with the newly resurfaced Broadwalk being revealed in autumn 2023. Once finished, the Broadwalk will provide easy access to the Deer Park and an impressive approach to Auckland Castle, to be enjoyed by both residents and visitors to Bishop Auckland.
